Activities

The children are cared for under the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.  Staff can give you information regarding what your child gets up to throughout his or her day with us.  The children are given free access throughout the day to the two outdoor play areas where they can run around and let off steam or build dens and tents amongst other things.  We have regular visits to the local library and parks.  Nature walks are arranged for some of the older children and they can bring their 'finds' back to nursery to show everyone!  The children who attend the Out of School and Holiday Club go to the cinema, seaside (Fleetwood and Southport), local tourist spots like Ordsall Old Hall, The Lowry Galleries and Blackleach Park, where they can encounter the history of Salford, find out about art and enjoy nature in the fresh air.
